On November 22, 2014 the Angel Band Project successfully hosted the first ever One Voice: Virtual and Live Choir event. Not only was the event powerfully inspiring for all those who attended, it also helped The Angel Band Project with their mission: promoting healing, raising awareness, and creating positive social change for survivors of sexual violence.
The amazing people at the Angel Band Project have already begun putting together Virtual Choir 2015. From now until February 15th, you can help them provide hope and healing to survivors of sexual and domestic violence through their 2015 One Voice Virtual Choir Project. They are raising funds ($10,000) for this event through power2give.org, a program supported by the Arts and Education Council of Greater St. Louis.
Your donation will go towards:
- Hiring licensed music therapists to work with survivors of sexual violence in 2015
- Hiring a professional film crew to record the survivors as part of the Virtual Choir experience
If you donate, not only will you be helping a truly wonderful cause, but you could also receive some great benefits, such as: becoming an honorary “member of the band”, a copy of their new “An Evening with Norbert Leo Butz” CD, or even a private tour and dinner at their new office.
